Scarborough is in the northeast of England.. It takes only an hour to go there by car from York. Yesterday we went to Scarborough by car. My mom drove the car and two of my mom's friends went with us.

  On the way to Scarborough, we saw many farms with lots of pigs. Surprisingly, we found each pig has its own house, and they can run everywhere in the farm. We all think the animals in United Kingdom are happiest animals in the world, because they have clean house to live, good food to eat and big farms for them to run in.

  Scarborough is very beautiful. It's near the sea and there is a mountain nearby. We walked near the beach. Amazingly, we found lots of beautiful shells. All kinds of boats stayed in the bay. Many seagulls flew just above our heads. We even saw a pirate ship. There is a small white lighthouse. Mum told me it is the symbol of Scarborough. If I was the mayor of Scarborough, I would choose a tall building to be the symbol of Scarborough.

  What I love Scarborough most is that there are lots of fish and chips. We ate fish and chips. They are yummy. Even the seagulls wanted to have some. We took photos with the waitress but I forgot the name of the restaurant.

 Mum bought some sweets for me and we went up to the tops of the mountain. On the mountain there was a castle which has 1200 years of history. But we went to the back of the castle and it was closed. So we just went back to the car park and went home.
