Whitby is a city near the sea. People who went there said it was a beautiful place.

  On 2th March 2013, my family, my friend and my mum's friends went to Whitby. We had six people. We went to Whitby by car. Before, we didn't have a car. But my friend's mum had been back to China, and she gave us her car. So, we can go travelling all around the UK. My dad drove the car.

  When we arrived in the Whitby, we went to Whitby car park first to park the car there. And then, we walked around the river. The river is so pretty that we didn't want to leave here. But we have the next attraction, so we have to go.

  We went to a little hill. There is a statue of captain Cook. My friend and I went to the highest place of the hill, and lay down on the grass. Suddenly I rolled from the highest place to the lowest place. It was so funny. my friend and I did it again and again. We screamed and laughed.

  When we stopped, I felt so nausea and so awful and so ill. I didn't want to do anything. So I just sat on the chair, sea breeze blowing at me. I felt very comfortable, and everything was OK.

  I was very hungry by then and we went to eat lunch. When we were on the way to finding a restaurant, we saw a performance of England village dance. The performers are all elderly. They performed perfectly. We ate lunch at THE MAGPIE CAFE,  which is the best restaurant in Whitby. The food is delicious. The appetizer was raw seafood. The main course was fish and chips. I like eat fish and chips.(*^__^*)

  Then we went to the beach. But there was high tide, and we couldn't play on it. So we walked around the big mountain near the sea. We played poker on a big stone.

  The sea was beautiful, the lunch was delicious, and the river was pretty.

  If I could travel to Whitby again, I would do all those things again.
